Why did you choose to enter Gift of the Year 2021 and has the competition helped boost your brand in the past?
I chose to enter Gift of the Year 2021 as its as I was lucky enpough to be shortlisted in the 2019 and 2020. I found that the giftware association are very approachable & great when it comes to promoting their entries, in all forms of socvial media. The Gift of the Year logo is now proudly dispayed on my website and brochures etc.
Has your business been affected by Covid-19?
Amazingly, my company has had its best year with online sales during the Covid period. My sales on Not on the High Street rose by 200 percent! My customers are quite loyal and do returmn to make repeat purchases. Wholesale orders have obviously been dramitally reduced, and I supplu lots of museum shops too, which are also having a hard time due to Covid
What changes have you made as a result?
I have spent more time on listing items online and even designing specifically for the online market
