We caught up with the family-run Bedfordshire brand to talk about what winning means to them, the story behind their award-winning product, and what exciting launches they have planned next.

How does it feel to be a Gift of the Year winner? 

It's so special as a business to be recognised for all of our hard work over the years. When you pour your heart into creating products that spark joy, whimsy and magic, it feels incredibly rewarding to have that recognised. 

What does this recognition mean for your business?

This recognition is a huge milestone for us. We’re so pleased that more people are discovering us, and can’t wait to share the joy and magic of The Chocolate Gift Co with them!

Tell us the story behind your winning product

The Coffee and Croissants tin was inspired by one of life’s simplest pleasures. Slow mornings, warm pastries and that first sip of coffee. We wanted to capture that cosy, comforting feeling and turn it into a gift people could share. We’re so pleased people love it. 

What makes it stand out in the market?

The Coffee and Croissants tin stands out because of its beautiful, hand-illustrated keepsake tin, which can be kept and treasured even after the chocolates are gone, and the delicious brown sugar and coffee shaped chocolates inside. 

Your journey

How did your business begin?

The Chocolate Gift Company was created 8 years ago by our founder, Lauren, with a vision to create a chocolate brand dedicated to thoughtful gifts for every occasion. We are a family-run business based in Bedfordshire, where our talented team manages everything from design and production to hand assembly in-house.

What has been your biggest milestone so far?

Last year was huge for us, with us beating our previous sale records for both customer and trade orders. And now, celebrating our first ever award win feels like the start of something really exciting.

What’s next for your brand?

Next up for us is the launch of our Christmas and Halloween collections. We also have some really exciting bespoke ranges in progress which we’re so excited to share more about with you all, so keep an eye out for those.
