2026 Finalists - Letterbox Love
We’re delighted to shine a spotlight on Letterbox Love, one of this year’s Gift of the Year finalists, recognised for their beautifully thoughtful Gem Jar Crystal Chip Bracelets.
Founded by husband-and-wife team Kerry and Liam, Letterbox Love is an award-winning, UK-based brand built on the belief that meaningful gifting doesn’t need to come with a high price tag. From sentiment-led jewellery to small but perfectly formed keepsakes, their products are designed to offer comfort, encouragement, and heartfelt connection.
Inspired by nostalgia, miniature gifting trends, and the magic of discovering something special, their Gem Jars combine natural crystal bracelets, collectible packaging, and a hidden mini poem — creating an emotional gifting moment that clearly resonated with the judges.
We caught up with Kerry to talk about the inspiration behind the brand, the reaction to being named a finalist, and what exciting plans lie ahead for Letterbox Love.
Company Name: Letterbox Love
Product(s) in the Finalist: Gem Jar Crystal Chip Bracelets
Congratulations on being a finalist! How does it feel to be recognised in this year’s Gift of the Year awards? Honestly, thrilled to bits, it's an amazing way to recognise the talent in our industry. We put so much thought and planning into our Gem Jars, and so for them to be noticed in this way is amazing.
Can you tell us a little about your brand and the inspiration behind your successful product? We’re an award-winning husband and wife-run brand based in the UK, creating sentiment-led jewellery designed to make people feel something; whether that’s comfort, encouragement, or just a little reminder that someone’s thinking of them.
Letterbox Love started from a simple idea during the first national lockdown in 2020: gifting doesn’t have to be expensive to be meaningful. We focus on creating affordable, thoughtful pieces that feel special enough to give for any occasion (or no occasion at all).
The inspiration behind our Gem Jars actually comes from something quite nostalgic. I’ve always been a little obsessed with those tiny jam jars you’d get at posh hotels as a child!
Fast forward to now, and with the growing trend in miniature gifting, those small but meaningful, collectable style presents it felt like the perfect time to bring that feeling into our range. We combined that nostalgia with our core focus on sentiment, creating little jars filled with meaning, not just a bracelet.
What makes your product special, and why do you think it stood out to the judges? There seems to be a big movement towards food-inspired and jar-style gifting at the moment, products that feel nostalgic, collectable, and a little bit different on the shelf. The jars naturally draw people in because they remind you of something familiar, but we’ve reimagined that into a meaningful gift rather than something consumable.
What really elevates them though, is the mini poem hidden at the bottom of each jar. It adds that extra layer of discovery; it’s not just a product you pick up, it’s something you read, connect with, and then gift with intention. That emotional moment is what our brand is all about.
And of course, the crystals themselves are natural, which gives each jar an authentic, slightly unique feel.
Who is your product designed for, and what kind of reaction have you had from customers so far? Our products are designed with real women in mind, the kind of customer who’s looking for something that feels meaningful, looks beautiful, and is easy to gift. Whether it’s a little pick-me-up for a friend, a thoughtful add-on, or a birthday gift, they want something that feels personal without needing a big spend.
With the Gem Jars especially, we’ve seen such a lovely reaction, usually “WOW, they are so cute!” haha, which we absolutely love!
This collection has been one of our fastest-selling launches ever!
What trends or themes do you think are shaping the gifting industry right now? One of the biggest trends we’re seeing right now is novelty with nostalgia, particularly influenced by food related gifting.
Products that take inspiration from familiar, comforting things like jars, treats, or “edible style” packaging are really resonating with customers. They instantly spark that sense of recognition and emotion. It’s that blend of “this reminds me of something” with “I’ve never seen this before” that makes people stop and pick something up.
Alongside that, miniature gifting is having a real moment. Smaller, collectable style products feel more accessible, giftable, and often more special because of their size and detail.
How has being shortlisted, and nowbeing a finalist impacted your brand so far, and what do you hope to achieve from the awards? We absolutely love the Gift Of The Year Awards, they are so fun and its so nice to have the opportunity to catch up with the people that make up our industry. It’s already helped give the Gem Jars a bit of extra spotlight, especially with both existing and new stockists. There’s a level of trust that comes with being recognised in the awards, which naturally helps with conversations and conversions particularly for retailers who are discovering us for the first time.
What exciting plans do you have for the future? We have some HUGE things happening at Letterbox Love this year with an exciting announcement coming in May this year too :)
What’s the best gift you’ve ever received (or given), and why? Liam gave me a little crochet worry goose at Christmas, because he knows I can sometimes overthink and let my anxiety take over. He wanted me to have something I could keep with me for when he’s not around and just a little reminder that I’m okay.
