We were the first to offer gin making kits and we are arguably still the best. We invest heavily in the gin recipes contained in each kit to ensure a foolproof result. We are also very environmentally conscious and as such we have just introduced compostable bags to our kits. This environmental awareness meant we were voted by the BBC Good Food Magazine the most environmental gin kit on the market.
There are five kits in our range numbered Blends 1-5. Each contains enough dry ingredients to make two bottles of your own bespoke craft gin. The Expert kit produces three bottles of gin. All you need to add is a cheap bottle of vodka into which the gin botanicals are infused for under 24 hours.
These products are offered exclusively to wholesale customers for retail sales. Each combines features of our best selling online products but is displayed in stylish unique packaging that is better suited to retail locations. Our pledge to any retailer stocking our kits is that we will never compete against them online.
Whilst the ingredients come from all over the globe the final preparation and packing in carried out by hand by our family team based in Cambridgeshire.
As the kits contain no alcohol a licence is not required to sell these kits.
Materials Description
Each kit is packed in a cardboard tube with a metal lid the tubes are manufactured in the UK. Within the Artisan (Blend 1) tube is a 70 cl Italian glass bottle and stopper. The bottle has been particularly chosen for it shape to aid the infusion process. The Artisan (Blend 1) also contains a metal sieve, plastic funnel, filter papers, instruction card and two pre-mixed botanical recipes for making the the gin.The Expert (Blend 2) kit has all of the above plus an additional pre-mixed recipe and a selection of gin toppers to enhance the aroma of the gin and tonic when served.
The Gentleman (Blend 4) has all of the above but just two pre-mixed recipes.
The Love Potion (Blend 5) has all of the above but includes two packs fo colour changing botanicals to all allow the gin made to be either pink or blue
The Hedgerow (Blend 3) makes sloe gin and has some different ingredients within the tube. It contains a 70cl Italian glass bottle and stopper. Dehydrated sloe berries , four packs of botanicals to flavour the sloe gin, pipettes, funnel, filter papers and instruction card.
Material used across the range: card tube, metal lid, glass bottle, glassine envelopes, compostable bags, natural filter papers, recycled plastic test tubes and funnel, and FSC graded paper for instructions and labels.
