Welcome to the warm and whimsical world of Fox Under The Moon; books, cards and gifts to encourage positivity and self love through words and pictures. From 8 to 88 year olds, the heart-warming messages of Fox Under The Moon can be enjoyed by all.
Imagined and created with love, ‘Fox Under The Moon’ is the work of Stacey McNeill, an artist and author, spreading messages of self-love and encouraging positive mental health through her thoughtful words and gentle illustrations.
Stacey says: “I am passionate about the natural world, and as you'll see from my illustrations; wildlife, woodlands and magical night skies inspire everything I create. My artwork is for all ages - it is inspired by the simplicity of everyday life, and the complicated emotions that go with it. I hope the little conversations between Fox, Moon and their friends, can bring some encouragement and comfort to you, and those you love.”
Tell us about the products you have entered
Books:
There are two titles in the book range; and each full colour, the illustrated book features more than 40 pages of comforting artwork and uplifting messages.
‘Fox Under The Moon’:
This is a book for young hearts and old souls. Those of all ages can take some comfort, strength and inspiration from it. In this book, you will meet an anxious but inquisitive fox and the wise, old moon. The two become friends, and together they explore some of life’s most challenging questions about love, loss, hope and friendship.
‘To The Moon & Back’:
Following the much-loved 'Fox Under The Moon', this new collection of artwork and words explores the importance of self love, resilience and hope in overcoming life's challenges. Written as conversations between Fox and Moon, again; the book is for those of all ages, and makes the perfect gift for someone going through a difficult time.
Cards:
There are 36 designs in the range of greeting cards, created to help givers to say the words that are sometimes difficult to find. Greeting cards aren’t always for celebrations – sometimes you want to give a card to someone going through a challenging time – sometimes you want something just to say ‘everything is going to be ok’.
The cards in the Fox Under The Moon range are gently illustrated with whimsical designs, and thoughtful conversations between Fox and Moon. The range covers themes such as grief and loss, mental health challenges, self-love, motivation and encouragement, as well as loving messages just to let someone know you are there, and that their problems are important to you.
Why did you choose to enter the GOTY competition? have you entered in the past and has it helped your brand grow?
This is my first year entering the competition! I met one of last year's finalists (Faye from Beevive) at the 2022 Autumn Fair and was really excited to find out more. I spoke with Victoria from the Giftware association, joined them and here we are!
What other products will you be bringing to market in 2023
In 2023 I'll be promoting my new book, while starting work on my next one, which will be a storybook for children. The new line of greeting cards and prints launches officially in 2023 too.

I sell online through my website - www.foxunderthemoon.co.uk/shop and also through a number of small gift shop stockists throughout the UK. So far I have two small stockists in the USA and one in new Zealand too.
