The concept of this range of funny soap was developed during lockdown as a response to the emphasis hand washing but it evolved to become a range with much broader appeal.
As a humour publisher, making people laugh is our driving force and we identified that a combination of our brand of outlandish humour and gorgeous soap would be the perfect partnership.
These are 'stand-out' products; they are designed to engage and attract attention. The packaging is vibrant and bold. The customer is drawn to the soaps by both the eye-catching design and the incredible, wonderful aromatherapy fragrances.
They immediately command a sensory interaction and engagement. They are designed to provoke laughter, to be sniffed and enjoyed!
It was important to us that the soap bar was of excellent quality and with robust ethical credentials. We didn't want to compromise on the quality of the soap and wanted the end-user to feel that despite the funny, irreverent packaging, there was a seriously lovely bath product underneath to be appreciated and enjoyed.
This also mean that the purchaser would know that they were buying a gift which would not only entertain and amuse but would also provide lasting enjoyment beyond the wrapper being removed.
Plus this combination of product positives means that the item is good value for money.
These are great small gifts for friends and family and are perfect for a range of seasonal gifts and occasions, such as Christmas, Valentines Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, birthdays, anniversaries, weddings etc.
There are currently eight main everyday designs and a further two seasonal (Christmas designs). There will also further specific designs for other occasions such as Valentine's Day.
Since the launch of this range at the end of June 2020, the uptake has been incredibly positive and they now sell in a number of independent shops across the UK, seeing frequent and repeat orders on a regular basis. They are now also stocked in high street chain Scribbler.
The B2C response has been extremely positive; feedback frequently highlights how the product is not only hilarious but also smells wonderful. This product really does seem to have a 'feel-good' element.
Materials DescriptionThe soap bar is made from 100% natural ingredients and infused with aromatherapy oils rather than synthetic fragrance and is vegan, is not tested on animals, is free of palm oil and parabens and is manufactured in the UK.
The soaps all contain a shea butter base which is gentle to the skin and provides excellent moisturising qualities.
The soaps have a shelf life of 12 months.
The paper packaging is made from recycled paper and custom-designed biodegradable stickers made from sugar cane paper, seal the ends.
