Beamish Bespoke Gift and Souvenir Range

Beamish is a world famous open air museum which brings the history of North East England to life at its 1820s Pockerley, 1900s Town, 1900s Pit Village, 1940s Farm, 1950s Town and 1950s Spain’s Field Farm exhibit areas.
This year there was a significant focus around the Suffrage and the National Federation of Women's Institutes which celebrated their 110 Anniversary. We incorporated the Suffrage movement colours into many of the product design themes.
Our brief was to create a classic yet contemporary range of gifts and souvenirs that encapsulates this history to offer for sale in the museum shops.
Our in-house design team achieved this by creating "Hero's" in the collection and using them as our creative inspiration by drawing together in a vibrant, colourful range. This included using tram cars, buses, the Chaldron wagon and the famous Tiny Tim Steam Hammer.
Importantly though, and working closely with the Beamish Team, we also created a bespoke tartan using purple shades as a direct nod to celebrating the suffrage movement which has formed a key element of the Beamish Museum story.

All the bespoke packaging has been carefully created and printed on uncoated plain board to allow for recycling.

3D Magnets- Printed on wood in Epoxy and offered in vibrant colours.

4 Pack Magnet- offering 4 different landmark magnets within the set in bold colours.

Enamel Keyrings- Produced in cut-out form in vibrant colours.
Presented on their own hanging cards.

Enamel Pin Badges- produced in cut-out form of the famous Beamish Railway station sign- in a number of vibrant colours. Presented on their own backing card.

Bobble Hats- 2 different options a chunky knit "Beamish" hat with an outsized bobble and printed in the purples and greens of the iconic suffragette colours.
The second a Jacquard print, double thick bobble hat featuring the Beamish steam train and logo. Woven in the same blue colours as the bamboo socks to bring together as a range. Presented with their own swing ticket & card hook for display.

Pure Wool Scarf- Bespoke Beamish Tartan Scarves. Designed into the purple palate of the iconic suffragette colours and are 100% pure wool with luxury brush finish and fringe ends. These large scarves are sized at 180cm long x 30 cm wide and are presented on their own hanging cards.

Bamboo Socks- Matching up perfectly with the Jacquard Bobble hat, the singel pack socks feature the Beamish Steam Train design with contrast colour heels, toes, rib tops and the Beamish logo on the sole.

Stickers- A fun collection of stickers presented in vibrant colours featuring a number of the Beamish "heroes"

Notebooks- A5 Notebooks with a soft cover with illustrations of the beamish collection of buses, trams and trolly cars. This lines notebook is the ideal way to record thoughts of your visit to Beamish!
